Authority is not something you can stand around and wait for someone to give you. Rather, you have to take it. Those who recognize this truth will be world changers. Are you a world changer? If so, get up and take your rightful place. You don’t have to quietly wait for permission to walk in the dominion God has already given you.

“He’s already given you permission. Now assume the position.”

Get you a marker, circle today’s date and claim, “This is my day of dominion.” You’re taking authority back in your life. Everything that’s been holding you is being broken off you. I’m speaking life to you today. I want you to take every word of this post and personalize it.

You see, there have been some things that have been keeping you from living your best life. Because of the intensity of the struggle, you’ve settled into a passive role. You’ve allowed life to beat you up. But all this time God has been waiting for you to rise up and claim your power. Don’t you realize that He’s given it to you? Can’t you see it?

You don’t have to be defeated, nor do you have to be a victim another day in your life. Whatever has happened to you has been for your making and not for your breaking. What was meant for evil is working for your good. What should have wounded you beyond repair, will only bless you beyond belief!

I want you to tap into the courage that’s been buried inside of you and snatch your authority back. You have to make the decision that enough is enough. Tell yourself, “I will not merely ‘exist’ another day in my life. Today, I will begin living.” Before now, your destiny has been held up because you haven’t seen yourself the right way. You’ve been living in fear and defeat when God has promised prosperity and breakthrough.

Too many times you’ve fallen prey to the lies of the enemy based on the bleakness of your outlook. But God wants to set you free today. No more will you walk around carrying guilt and shame. No longer will you be held hostage by your past hurts and fears. You will break the back of poverty, oppression, depression, and suppression that has taken over your life for far too long. Oh, but no more.

This is your day of release . . . but only if you declare that it is. “For assuredly, I say to you, whosoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says” (Mark 11:23 NKJV).

Take the authority back and do it now.
